Prima Music Academy
Founded in 2019, Prima Music School marks a special chapter in our story - it‘s the project that ignited our passion for furniture craftsmanship. This is more than just a space for learning; it’s a reflection of our dedication to blending creativity with functionality, and we’re thrilled to share this journey with you.

The space
The challenge was clear: transform a compact 2.5 x 3.5-meter space into an inspiring music environment. Our goal was to seamlessly integrate a piano, a library with a desk for writing music, and a reception area complete with a bench and built-in table - all while maintaining an elegant and harmonious design.
While designing, we were inspired by the brass accents commonly found on pianos and their wooden structure. This led us to incorporate brass as a central design feature, complementing the natural beauty of the wood.
We worked with premium materials, focusing on two key elements: beech plywood and brass detailing. These materials allowed us to craft a space that exudes both warmth and sophistication.
To optimize the room‘s acoustics, we positioned the library behind the piano, turning it into a reflective, textured panel. Above the piano, we installed three acoustic panels, while a thick rug below ensures the sound quality. Every detail was designed with both form and function in mind.

Bookshelf
The library itself is suspended on custom-made brass rods that are elegantly integrated into the plywood shelves. Below it, a sleek folding desk offers the perfect space for composing music, without disrupting the room’s flow.

Details
We crafted custom brass elements for the smaller details, such as the coat hooks and curtain rods, to ensure the space was cohesive down to the last detail. Even the chandeliers and desk lamp were designed from the leftover pieces of beech plywood, creating a unique touch that ties everything together.

Bench
For additional space-saving functionality, we built a table into the bench, which can also double as extra seating. We integrated playful cutouts into the front panels of the bench to enhance both the design and acoustics of the space.
